COVID-19 UPDATE: In person homework assistance has been suspended until further notice.

Need help with your Homework? The Newburgh Free Library has several ways you can get help.

In-Person: Children in grades 1-6 can drop-in to the Story Hour Room at the Newburgh Free Library to receive help with their homework from Newburgh School District teachers. Monday through Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. from late September through mid-May. No registration is required. Before you come to the library, especially if the weather is a concern, call the library at 845-563-3600 or check the Calendar of Events for the most up to date information on Homework Help being open!

Homework Hotline: A website with helpful learning links and call in help for New York State students.  For DIAL-A-TEACHER HOMEWORK HELP, call: 1-888-986-2345 toll free on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. when school is in session.
