Fandom Fest 2025
Join us for an afternoon of fandom fun! Get your face painted, meet local artists, take a picture with the Rebel Legion and Empire City Garrison and enjoy different crafts and activities based around different fandoms!
Fandom Fest will take place on Sat., May 17 from 1 – 4:00 p.m. at the Newburgh Free Library, 124 Grand Street. This event celebrates all things pop culture for kids, tweens and teens. Cosplay is encouraged!
This event is family-friendly and open to patrons of all ages, please note that while costumes are allowed, weapons, including props, are not permitted on library premises.

Schedule of Events:
Riverview Room
- 1:30-2:15pm: Fandom Trivia Bingo – For all ages. Test your knowledge of different fandoms!
- 3-3:30pm: Anime/Manga Bookmarks – Geared toward ages 8 years and up, but all are welcome. Stop by to make your own bookmark using manga page cut outs!
Storyhour Room
- 1:30-2pm: Pokemon Card Trading – Geared to all Pokémon collectors. Join Pokémon Professor Ehrin Anthony for a chance to meet other collectors and see what you can trade!
- 2:20-3:30pm: Board Game free play – For all ages. Mix, mingle and make new friends by playing a variety of board games!
E-Learning Center
- 2:30-3:00pm: Wednesday Fandom – Geared to ages 11-17, but all are welcome. She’s creepy, spooky and kooky! Join Brian to celebrate all things Wednesday!
